The palate is distinctly and pleasantly sweet and complex. Velvety and lightly tannic, it has its own character and an appealing semi-sweet dessert-wine profile.

It is excellent with pastries, especially plain bakes, but also with cream-filled desserts. Its pairing with fried desserts can be particularly successful.

The fresh, rich bouquet has good intensity and a distinctive, lasting character, with notes of apple, pear and almond.
